Fifth grade and the Environment Council plant birch seedlings

Fifth graders and the Environment Council made the most of the good weather today, planting dozens of birch seedlings. The seedlings are a gift from Yrkjusjóður. In recent years, students have planted birch seedlings on a small slope north of the parking lot. We are watching eagerly as things progress and hope to see a small forest take shape there within a few years.
